Cutting Edge Technology

The services and treatments that we offer are world-class, with the best materials and the most advanced technological equipment in the different areas of dentistry for the restauration of mouths that have been damaged by diseases or common problems.

We want our patients to continue having satisfactory results and maintain an optimal oral health through the periodic revisions that we offer.

We have cutting edge technology, the only technology of its kind in the Northwest region of Mexico.

Guided Surgery

It’s a surgical technique based on prediction criteria with the aim of reducing the need to perform surgery and to offer a less invasive surgical/prosthetic treatment.

Facilities
Sterilization

We know the importance of working with dental instruments and equipment under strict hygiene and sterilization, therefore, in our clinic we invest in the latest equipment to meet international guidelines required for infection control, protecting this way our patients and giving them peace of mind.

CONE BEAM

CONE BEAM is the new 3D scanning technolgy, for dental and general purposes. With this technology the specialist is able to work with a 3D image of the patient’s dental structure in a specialized software. By using this technology, the dental specialist can work more efficiently and promptly when looking for the best treatment for the pacient.

In conventional tomography the patient is seated or standing, during the capture and the emission of the beam in the medical tomography of a thin fan, that needs to take several turns to achieve scan the patient’s skull.

In 3D Cone Beam Tomography, cone beam is emitted with a single spin to obtain the craniofacial complex and also has an image intensifier which obtains several benefits such as:

  • Speed in decision
  • Low cost
  • High quality images in all three planes of space
  • Possibility to make cuts to different sections and scales
CAD-CAM

In Odontología Especializada, we are one of the first clinics in Mexico to implement the CAD-CAM technology that consists of an advanced software that allows dentists to design their restorations by computer, whether veneers, inlays, bridges, implant abutments and crowns.

After designing the software restoration “CAD” and approved by the patient, the information is transmitted to a milling machine (Motorized Robot) for manufacturing in 15 minutes maximum.

CEREC is a computerized system for the development of “inlays”, “onlays”, partial crowns, veneers and all-ceramic crowns in the front and side areas of the teeth.

  1. In a single visit
  2. Without metal
  3. No impressions
  4. Highly aesthetic
  5. Without provisional
  6. Long-lasting
  1. Before treatment we thoroughly inform you of all the benefits of CEREC.
  2. After removing decay or old amalgam filling we take a 3D photo of the tooth in function with a CEREC camera.
  3. On the CEREC system screen unit, a custom restoration is design for your tooth.
  4. The CEREC milling unit mills the filling in a ceramic block.
  5. The finished restoration is placed directly on the tooth to restore.
DSD – Digital smile design

Here at Odontología Especializada we constantly strive to offer our patients the best service possible.

For a better diagnosis we use the Digital Smile Design System, an esential tool in modern dentistry which consists in designing a preview of your smile in a dynamic way by the use of photography and video, this way we can show the patient the form, size and color of the teeth as well as the contour of the gums in conjunction of the face.

With this tool the patients get involved within the treatment, therefore they can decide if the design of the smile fulfills the expectations before starting with the rehabilitation process per se.

3D Printing

It is the plastic manufacture of geometric replicas obtained by digitally scanned molds, which serve as study models, where materials can be such as wax and then be used in processes of lost waxes.

By the means of this, removable prostheses can be built quickly, such as metal alloys, when before it was done with cobalt chromium, resulting in very slow and expensive processes.

  • Better lookin finishes compared to traditional methods
  • There is no waste of materials, additive technology means that layers of plastic material are adhered to the digital area provided by the geometric design.
  • Opens up new alternatives and possibilities to perform more complex geometric figures such as removable prostheses molds.
  • Optimal therapeutic strategies when approaching implantation procedures, minimally invasive and personalized
  • Virtual procedure planning, which is much more efficient reducing intervention times and increasing the chances of clinical success of the manufactured implant.
4D Tomography

The 4D tomography allows to irradiate with more precision and less toxicity. The 4D tomography incorporates the use of the three dimensions of the body that allows visualizing the 3D (the anteroposterior, the craniocaudal and the lateral) in a 4D one, capturing the movement around the respiratory organs. The 4D Tomography is performed by a scanner that processes the X-rays to obtain a “cut” image of the patient’s body, revealing wounds that are difficult to capture with other technologies. The result is also spectacular images, which offer us a new look at the internal organs as never before, particularly in the form of animation, thanks to the disappearance of artifacts due to their higher resolution. This is probably what Superman would see with his X-ray vision.

Guided Surgery

Guided surgical techniques based on classic predictability criteria have been widely used in implantology in order to reduce the need for surgery and offering patients a less invasive surgical / prosthetic treatment. Currently, CT scans along with specialized software have allowed surgical-prosthetic planning in a virtual environment, allowing doctors to start with a precise three-dimensional bone visualization and its relationship with the future prosthesis. In virtual planning it is possible to evaluate and measure bone density; select the type, size and number of implants; verify its location, its inclination and the level of depth in relation to the bone and the emergence of the fixation screw of the future prosthesis.
